From January the 20th to February the 21st 2014, the Laffanour-Downtown Gallery presents the room « Antony » designed by Jean Prouvé for the Jean Day university residence in 1954. Thus mythical room, recreated at 18 rue de Seine, is completed with rare furniture such as green Présidence desk from 1952 and unique pieces such as the staircase of the Maison Boot, the interiors dear to Jean Prouvé.
An opportunity to rediscover the work of this engineer/architect, educated as an ironworker, who gave practical application to the social reflections of the post-war period.
