On the occasion of this new edition of Design Miami Paris, taking place from October 15 to 20, 2024, Laffanour | Galerie Downtown is proud to present an exceptional selection of iconic pieces by Jean Prouvé and Charlotte Perriand.

At the heart of the Hôtel de Maisons garden, there will be a unique 8×8 demountable house designed by Jean Prouvé in 1946 for his family in Carnac, a true icon of modular and functional architecture. The gallery will also reveal a rare ‘En forme’ sideboard (1964), a special commission by Charlotte Perriand for the Galerie Steph Simon, and a beautiful long bench and a spectacular table designed by José Zanine Caldas. In addition, a ‘Présidence’ desk and a ‘Présidence’ armchair, both by Jean Prouvé, will be part of the selection, perfectly embodying the designer’s structural ingenuity and elegance.
